A little bit late admittedly yet I feel it is important to thank everyone who attended/performed at the comedy night at Hamptons on the 29th September. I certainly had a great time and felt each act brought a unique style of comedy which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The total raised on the night was £162.98 which is amazing and we are extremely thankful for everyone who helped us achieve this! The aim of the night was to donate money to each act that they felt was the funniest. The winner of the night (who will be performing on the 25th October) raised £19, and he was also my favorite comedian of the night.

Don’t forget to keep buying those tickets, the link is on the homepage and the money will not only go towards a memorable night, it will also help Oxfam’s Climate Change Appeal. Don’t forget the theme is to ‘Go Blue in the face for climate change’ so we would love to see your unique style of face paints and blue outfits! There is only 3 weeks left to go until the big event and the team at Oxjam Southampton are so excited! We will be especially missing Jennie who has been our fund raising guru and in general a great member of our team but she will unfortunately be in Australia on the main event so we are hoping to receive a photo of her with blue face paint by Sydney Opera House!
